The very 1st time mobile sourcing tour (Shanghai-Hangzhou-Zhongshan) organized by Shanghaimart from 18-23 October has achieved great success. The tour has attracted 50 overseas buyers from approximately 10 countries (USA, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, UK, Ireland, Spain, Poland, Egypt, and Kenya).

The sourcing tour has brought buyers nearer to the local specialty and production base of each city such as Silk in Hangzhou and Casual wear in Zhongshan. The tour has open up greater opportunity for buyers in sourcing for wider products and vendors in the coastal area of China.

 The main attraction of the tour was the B-Match event (business matchmaking) whereby suppliers and buyers were brought together for a business negotiation meeting that produces a more efficient and effective results. More than half of the buyers participated in the tour have indicated that they have intention to make deals with the suppliers that they have just met during the tour.
